 Sales Associate + Stylist + Brand Ambassador 

Established in 2006 as a punky thrift shop, Montage has dug its roots deep and is now one of the longest-standing Vintage Clothing stores in San Antonio.

We are looking for a vintage-loving, enthusiastic, creative with a desire to grow a mission of preserving quality vintage clothing and sustainable fashion. 

This pivotal role in the store requires a strong sales personality who is confident in styling vintage and modern clothing to create personalized looks for our diverse customers. Your sales reflect your pay as the base pay is $ hourly plus a 5%-10% commission on all your sales. Commission starts at 5% and depending on your experience, social influence, and sales strategies/goals met will grow to 10%.

 

In this role, you will be…

  • Giving individual attention to clients, delivering a true MONTAGE customer experience.

  • Styling clients to their taste and only what they truly feel and look good in.

  • Achieving weekly personal sales goals.

  • Communicating product and customer feedback to the Store Manager.

  • Clothing prep - Steaming & Ironing clothing

  • Tagging clothing & accessories

  • Opening/closing procedures of the store on all designated shifts as per the store hours of operations OPENING & CLOSING PROCEDURES DO INVOLVE MINOR CLEANING, on a set schedule: sweeping, dusting, vacuuming.


You should have…

  • Exemplary communication and customer service skills

  • The ability to make real-time decisions

  • Awareness, and willingness to consistently be growing knowledge of clothing, brands, hardware, fabrics, and trends from the past and current.

  • Commitment to at least a few of these days during these hours: Tuesday-Sunday 10:30 am - 6:00 pm (sometimes earlier or later during peak times)
